New American Center Documentary
​

Directed, filmed, edited and produced a short film depicting students as well as program coordinators and their roles at the New American Center. A look into the value of the summer program as well as the after-school homework help program for refugee youth in Lynn, MA.

​

Using Adobe Premiere, I was able to edit this project without any budget and provide the center with promotional content. 
 

Titles for interviewees were created with Photoshop and imported into Premiere.

​

This video was seen by the Office of Refugee Resettlement in Washington D.C. and helped raise funds for the New American Center's Youth Program.

I have worked as a contributor at the Lynn Daily Item and the Swampscott Magazine, two local news outlets, utilizing  my interpersonal skills to interview as well as my writing skills to produce quality content.

John Cataldo: Calligrapher
​

Was hired by MassArt to edit short documentary depicting the prowess and artistic professionalism of renown calligrapher John Cataldo. Collborated with director, Al Gowan in order to promote calligraphy as an art form and an important stylistic concept. 

Using Adobe Premiere, I was able to edit this project, highlighting Cataldo's many years of experience and his profound impact on many of his students.

Lower third titles were created with Photoshop and imported into Premiere.

Constructing the Abstract
​

A final project created for a Motion Picture Editing Course at Brandeis University. Was created using abstract editing techniques. Utilized Adobe Premier to edit. 

​

After completing this project, I was hired to the Getz Media Lab where I worked for approximately three years, teaching others the editing skills I had learned from this course and other experiences.

Natasha Mirny: Director, Founder of Happy Theater​
​

Was hired by Natasha to document her latest improvisation and movement workshop. Students of the workshop explored vocal and physical excercises as a way to discover their unique body language and to connect voice and body. 

​

Used a Canon 70D for filming purposes. Edited with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Adobe Audition.

Piers Park Sailing Center Grand Re-Opening
​

Hired by Piers Park Sailing Center to film and edit footage of the center's Grand Re-opening.

​

Shot interviews with members of the center's Board of Directors, volunteers, employees, and other people involved with the park.

​

Used multitude of equipment including DSLR camera, lavalier microphones and tripods to film; used Adobe Creative Suite to edit including: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and Photoshop.

​

Video has been highly praised by people involved with the center who have used the video in a promotional capacity.
